| Connect at Point of Grace |
Connecting people with the opportunities needed for growth in the grace and knowledge of Christ is central to the mission of Point of Grace. Point of Grace is a place where you can discover compassion, not condemnation, and love rather than judgement. Christianity is about relationships not religion. We are here to help you learn that a relationship with God is about joy, hope and the power to overcome life's obstacles.
Pastors' Breakfast
Every few weeks, new visitors and guests are invited to attend our Pastors' Breakfast in Auditorium #12 at 9:00 a.m. At the Pastor's Breakfast you will have an opportunity to personally meet Pastors Dusty and Ann Hammock. They will share their personal testimonies and help you see the big picture God is creating here at Point of Grace. For dates and times, please check out our calendar or listen for announcements during our Sunday services.

Who We Are
Point of Grace is a unique church with an extraordinary vision. Pastors Dusty and Ann Hammock and Point of Grace are compelled to reach a hurting world with the love of Jesus Christ. Having crossed denominational lines, our church is seeing racial barriers come down. Point of Grace is a multi-cultural church where a mosaic of diversity is united to create a masterpiece of God's design.
How We Accomplish Our Vision
Our goal is to help people rebuild their lives through discipleship and experience God’s love, acceptance and forgiveness. Point of Grace desires to create an environment where you will discover compassion, not condemnation, and love rather than judgment. Point of Grace is a place where you will discover joy, hope, and power to overcome life’s obstacles. But most importantly, you will find that you are surrounded by people just like you...people who have discovered the real answer to the real struggles that you face everyday.
Our Vision
To lead a citywide transformation of Birmingham's people, places and purpose. Isaiah 61:4
Our Focus
Church health is a matter of focus: a focus on serving Christ as well as a focus on others serving others, not ourselves. A willingness to serve is the greatest indicator of a Christward focus. It shows up as a ready, easy smile. It's a willingness to reach out and greet somebody whom you don't know well or whom you've never seen before.
Point of Grace focuses on the unchurched and the under-churched. We believe we can impact our city by focusing on Christ and being a servant. A focus on Christ allows us to support one another, even in our differences. We want to be “at your service” in the good times and the bad. |

Our Beliefs
Our church believes the whole Bible to be completely and equally inspired and that it is the written Word of God. We have adopted the following Declaration of Faith as our standard and official expression of doctrine.
|
| - |
That every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful - showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God's way. Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us. |
- |
In one God Who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. |
- |
That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor. |
- |
That all of us have sinned and fall short of God's glory but if we admit and confess our sins, He is faithful and true to His own nature and will forgive our sins and continuously cleanse us from all unrighteousness. |
- |
That spiritual rebirth, freedom from guilt and shame, and complete restoration are accomplished by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ. |
- |
In the continuous pursuit of a life devoted fully to God, through faith in the blood of Christ, through the Word, and by the Holy Spirit. |
- |
In the infilling of the Holy Spirit after salvation as a result of yielding to His work in us and in speaking with other tongues as the initial evidence of the infilling of the Holy Spirit. |
- |
In water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit as a public confession of Jesus as Lord. |
- |
Divine healing is provided for all though Jesus. |
- |
In the Lord's Supper as a remembrance of the sacrifice made for us by Jesus and washing of the saints' feet as a symbol of humility. |
- |
In the bodily resurrection, eternal life for those who receive Jesus Christ as their only hope of salvation, and eternal punishment for those without Christ as Savior. |
