| Online Vacation Request |
As early in each calendar year as possible, the vacation schedule should be determined so that vacations may be arranged in a manner to interfere the least with church operations. In case of conflicts, the employee who has been with the church the longest period of time shall have the choice periods. All vacation time for professional and secretarial employees must present vacation request to the Senior Pastor or Administrator at least two weeks before the date(s) requested.
Exceptions to-any provisions of this vacation policy will be handled on an individual basis with the approval of the Senior Pastor.
Paid Holidays
The following (10) holidays will be observed with full pay for all employees normally scheduled to work on these days.
• New Year's Day
• Easter Monday
• Independence Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Eve |
• Martin Luther King Jr. Day
• Memorial Day
• Labor Day
• Day after Thanksgiving
• Christmas Day |
If a holiday falls on Saturday or Sunday there will be no additional compensation for the holiday.
