Mercy Child Orphanage in Nairobi, Kenya is home to almost 40 children who have been rescued from some desperate situations. Some have lost their parents to aids and some have walked over 180 miles just to escape abuse and torture. The orphanage is definitely a place of refuge, but is very inadequate. This is why City, Thou Art Loosed partnered with Point of Grace Ministries is dedicated to building a new orphanage to provide these children with the safe haven they deserve.

Update
Construction of Phase I of the new Mercy Child Orphanage is complete.  Now, we are waiting on the government to bring electricity to the building.  Please pray that this is done quickly as we are planning to move the children in to the new facility in December after the school term has ended. 

In August, we dedicated the orphanage and brought the children to the new facility.  They were so excited about their new home.  The children expressed their thanks to all who have made this possible! 

Our desire is to continue the progress.  Your generosity and financial commitment make this possible!   Your commitment of $35 per month allows us to feed, clothe and educate a child.  In addition to our monthly commitment, our goal is to raise an additional $30,000 to complete the next Phase of the new home.
